In Te Ngahere, Bay Bush Action came to Paihia School to talk about the endangered creatures in New Zealand like the kakapo, Kiwi and the New Zealand wood pigeon. Going through the slideshow Bay Bush Action talked to us why we should protect these creatures and kill the pests. But it turned out that we were the ones who brought these pest to New Zealand and let them eat our bird's and eggs but we are also the ones who can solve the problem by putting traps down and eliminating our pest and having more bird's in our native forest. What I enjoyed was learning why we should protect the bird's and set up more traps.
Here are some photos.
