Summer Learning Journey P2 2019

What Tourist should do in New Zealand is to:
3: Visit Waitangi - Tourist should go to Waitangi because it is inportant to New Zealand history and the people of Waitangi.

2: Visit The Sky Tower - The sky tower is the tallest tower in New Zealand, you can have a tour in the sky tower and more to do.

1: Visit The Hobbiton Movie Set - This is number one because Hobbiton is where The Hobbit and Lords of The Rings was set, this is my favourite place to go.

5 things to stay safe in the sun:

1: Stay in the sun

2: Sunscreen

3: Wear a hat

4: Wear Sun Glasses

5: Don't be in the sun

What I put in my special draining sink is nothing because I don't have one.

What Super Power I would have would have the power of web slinging because you can just be a spider like Spider-Man does every time he saves people.

5 things to do in the rain:

1: Stay inside - I would stay inside because you could have a hot chocolate while it rains outside

2: Sing Rain Rain go away - The song may be annoying but it will work (sometimes)

3: Play video games - not the best way to do in the rain but it will work

4: Youtube - What I do in the rain

5: Duck Duck Goose - Best Game I play with my cousins.

  1. Kia ora Dayton,

Wow, what an interesting bunch of activities you have chosen here! It's wonderful to see you get involved, however, in the title of each activity you do, could you please include the week, day and number activity it is so that I can easily mark off which activities you have completed. e.g. W2, D3, A2 (week, day, activity). This would be so helpful!

Thanks for listing some places to go in New Zealand. I would love to go to Hobbiton, as I love the Hobbit movies. You have also done a wonderful job at listing ways to stay sun smart. When I choose to be out in the sun, I always ensure that I reapply sunscreen after I swim and/or every 4 hours.

Your 5 things to do in the rain were great. I liked that you explained each activity in depth. I remember so clearly singing the rain rain go away song with my Poppa and sister when I was younger.

Looking forward to more blog posts from you soon Dayton!
