In Te Ngahere, we have been learning about reusing images from the internet because most people who get images on the internet don’t give credit to the person who took the photo or made it. (If it was a drawing) We each had a slideshow and we had some sets of images we had to find on explore. Explore is on tools in Google Slides, Docs and Drawings. It allows you to use the images that are on explore. At the bottom at the image that you are choosing, it should say it is free to use. We had to find images that are something green, a school, your favourite food and more. We then had to use our camera to take photos of ourselves, something blue, your friends and someone that is happy. After we had to use our camera we went to unsplash to find images like a dog, friends, school, someone that is happy, a sunset, a cave and something blue. After we found the images we went to Sumo Paint or Google Drawings to draw something of our own. I used Sumo Paint a drew a picture of my own, I called him climate change. If you want to use free images on the internet search up something you want, go on images, click on the tools button, click on useable rights and click labeled for non-commercial use. That should show you free images. I enjoyed learning this because I now know what images I can use on the internet and images I can not use on the internet. What I enjoyed was making a drawing of my own because I got to use my imagination.
Unfortunately I haven’t finished my DLO yet but here is a picture of my drawing.
