Whaea Gina's Energise

In Te Ngahere, we have been learning about healthy drinks and foods. Whaea Gina came in and talked to us about what we should put  in our body’s and what shouldn’t be in our body’s. We talked about how much sugar there was in bad drinks like energy drinks and fizzy’s. We also talked about what drinks are good and what drinks we should have everyday, what we should have sometimes and drinks we should not drink everyday. For example, milk is a drink that we should drink everyday along with water, powerade is a drink we should drink once or twice a week and when your sick and when you need energy in a sports game and fizzy drinks and energy drinks we shouldn’t drink everyday because of the high amount of sugar that can cause a bad reaction and diabetes. What I enjoyed was seeing what was good and bad for your health because I haven’t been drinking fizzy drinks for nearly 2 months.
